Drawing on insights from these leadership books, this seminar explores how bottom-up solutions unlock innovation, accountability, and human dignity within organizations and institutions. Participants will examine how systems shape behavior and how leaders can redesign those systems to reward contribution, expand opportunity, and strengthen trust. Through practical examples and guided reflection, we will connect belief in people with measurable performance and equitable outcomes. You will leave equipped to build cultures that expect excellence, cultivate ownership, and fix what’s unfair—without losing sight of humanity.
About the presenter
Yared Oliveros is a dynamic people & diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) leader with a track record of driving impactful change in shaping inclusive employee experiences—from startups to enterprise. She is the Global Lead Ambassador and contributing author in Volume 2 for Latinas Rising Up In Human Resources. As the Founder of Because We Can, Yared is committed to breaking barriers, amplifying diverse voices, and creating opportunities for underrepresented communities.
A sought-after speaker, leader, and advocate, Yared continues to shape conversations around leadership, inclusion, and workplace equity. She currently serves as a board advisor for The Egypt Experience, a Lessons in Leadership conference where ancient wisdom and bold leadership meets for a once in a life time experience to lead with purpose. Previously, Yared served as a DEI leader at Tesla and Global President of Latinos at Tesla, playing a key role in empowering diverse talent, fostering inclusive workplaces and building strong employee resource groups (ERGs) that create meaningful impact.
